Bronze Patina Urine. Or any such acquired change of a surface through age and exposure. Urine has been used for a looooong time to force patina metal.

A patina is a thin layer that forms on the surface of a metal over time (the blade). Apply patina solution by spraying onto fixture, preferably in the early evening on a high humidity night. Heat the bronze, 300 degrees will do.

I recall hearing about a famous swedish sculptor who got the right patina on his bronze sculptures by encouraging his sons to pee on them, so this technique sounds very worth trying. I’ve even heard of people creating a patina from urine, although i don’t recommend that one. Not sure where they'd get the amount needed for large sized public sculptures. The result is a compound called malachite (equation 4), which varies in color from shades of dark green to shades of blue.
